To understand the significance of the Forever Wild Land Trust, established 20 years ago by Alabama voters, the League of Women Voters of Mobile invited a presentation on the history, accomplishments, and mission of the program as the subject of its October luncheon. Click here to see the presentation, which describes how the program is funded and how it carries out its mission to purchase and manage wilderness areas for the enjoyment and use of all Alabamians.
LWVM Wednesday Luncheons
Please join us on the third Wednesdays of most months for LWVM's luncheon around the water. We'll hear from interesting speakers addressing issues of important community interest.
