|Transparency Award Celebration and Reception.
We urge you attend the Transparency in Government Celebration reception on Saturday night. The winner of our Transparency Award will be honored, Mobile City Councilperson Bess Rich, and our speaker for the evening is Kyle Whitmire, State Political Commentator, Alabama Media Group, who will discuss the importance of government transparency. There will be food and a cash bar. Gina Finnegan of the State Board is coordinator for the event and worked closely with a committee of Mobile leaguers to make the event special. |Monthly Luncheon - "Mental Health First Aid".
Tamieka Martin is the luncheon speaker and her presentation will focus on mental health first aid (MHFA).
All LWVM luncheon events are open to the public, but reservations are required. Please RSVP to Rella firstname.lastname@example.org or (251) 553-2013 by Monday, May 15th. Lunch is $18 or $19 by credit card. Free seating is also available without the luncheon cost, however, reservations are still required to arrange for extra seating.
